Copper Mountain

Copper Mountain is a local favorite and laid back mountain with a summit elevation of 12,441 feet.  Copper offers over 2500 acres of skiable terrain, making it on of Colorado's largest ski and snowboard resorts.  Copper Mountain has a wonderful "hang out" atmosphere at the base of the mountain, with many restaurants to sit outside. Be sure to check the Copper Mountain calendar of events because there is often bands playing and special events.

Copper Mountain also offers great summer activities including golf, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing wall, zip line, bumper boats, bungee trampoline, go karts, Woodward Barn sessions and more! Plus great events all summer including national bands and festivals like the Colorado BBQ Challenge, Union Peak Festival and more.  The Rocky Mountain Coaster is 5,800 feet long, making it one of the longest in North America with speeds up to 25mph. 

Copper Creek Golf Course with beautiful views of the Ten Mile Range.  Channel your inner ninja at the Woodward WreckTangle. This outdoor ninja obstacle challenge serves up nine different sections of unique and fun-filled obstacles to conquer, in the heart of Copper’s Center Village. Complete with cargo nets, balance beams, rope swings and more! For ages 5+. Must be 36 inches and 50+ lbs. Cool off at the West Lake on bumper boats or zip over the lake on the zipline that reaches speeds up to 30 mph!  Race family and friends on Summit County's only Go-Kart track! Sign up at Center Village Copper Sports or at the track located in the Powder Lot. You must be at least 56 inches tall to drive a Go-Kart. The 19,400ft² Woodward Copper Barn is the central hub of the Woodward Copper campus and Copper Mountain Resort's action sports playground. Featuring multiple skate/scooter/bmx zones, indoor ParkSki™ and Burton ParkBoard™ training, springfloor, tumble track, five Olympic-grade flybed trampolines and one 12'x12' Super Trampoline, The Barn has everything you need to practice your moves and have tons of fun in every session. When the winter snow gets deep at Copper, come inside and enjoy an indoor session under the lights in the fully heated Woodward Copper Barn.
